The charity offer’s help to those with Cystic Fibrosis, in most need, providing emergency essential grants for those who are experiencing hardship and difficulties living on low income and we aim to make life a little better in these difficult times.
CF Care help many families and individuals with our support grants and requests are referred by the Specialist CF Team or social worker. Please get in touch by phone or social media and we will try to help. We can offer:
- Emergency Food voucher grant for an individual patient £100
- Emergency CF family food voucher grant £200
- Crisis household energy voucher £300
- Enable vital emotional support grant for £300
- Essential Hospital costs such as a travel grant up to £250
- Hardship grants £300
- An educational or vocational training grant for adult CFP’s of £600
- Fund a Prescription Prepayment Certificate for CF patients on low income.
- Funding fees for a Practitioner CF Nurse training course towards becoming a Specialist Nurse with EducateCF £650.
- Provide vital medical equipment and help with capital refurbishment projects which the NHS is unable to fund
- Offering telephone support with help and advice
- Provide activity packs for those long boring times in hospital
