We are an independent charity and our finances are finely balanced. Our costs are partially covered by income from contracts and grants for specific projects and we generate vital additional funds for ourselves from retail, donations and fundraising activities.

Thanks to over 8,000 unpaid volunteer hours, every year we support more than 80 local groups and 100 businesses; we respond to over 10,000 visitor enquiries, help over 1,000 residents and distribute countless pieces of reliable information.
