Children & Families

Mashamshire Community Office is all about mutual support for vital community services. So, we provide a low-cost home for Acorns Pre-School, who are a separate Masham charity. Acorns is a small non-profit-making pre-school, that provides a vital service for young families in Mashamshire with its exceptional care for children aged 2-5 years.

Acorns Pre-School
This Masham charity has had its home in Mashamshire Community Office since 2003. It provides a small and welcoming pre-school facility for 2-5 year olds.
Its dedicated team of staff and volunteer trustees, run a lovely, caring little pre-school setting in the heart of Masham. They work hard to offer affordable childcare to young families living or working in Masham. They operate within the limited government funding allowance and rely on additional fundraising from the community to keep them going.
A a charity ourselves, Mashamshire Community Office is delighted to support them by providing a low cost and secure venue. Both our charities welcome your support.
